THORSTEDS was established in 2018 as a merger between Thorsted’s Maskinværksted A/S and Maskinfabrikken Metalteknik ApS. Both companies have been taken over by Bjørn Andersen, BHSA Holding ApS, who wanted to develop them into a competent partner within the delivery of machined components. Focus is on partnering with the pharmaceutical industry.

WHO WE ARE
Niels Thorsted, a trained mechanical technician, founded his machine workshop in 1998. As an employee in the industry, Niels had experienced how many machine workshops often had difficulties complying with delivery times, and often they did not accept orders for small series at all. With this, he had spotted a market for reliable supply of machine-made components in small and medium-sized series.
With its location in Kvistgaard, Denmark, THORSTEDS has built up a long-term relationship with many loyal customers. Over the years, these have experienced that THORSTEDS repeatedly lives up to its reputation as a credible and efficient partner, always delivering the highest quality at the agreed time.
If desired, THORSTEDS participates in the development and optimization of customers' products. Many of the customers come from the pharmaceutical industry, which often need fast delivery of unique products and spare parts.
THORSTEDS has today merged with Maskinfabrikken Metalteknik ApS, another Kvistgaard based high-quality machine shop, and both have been taken over by Bjørn Andersen, who is a trained mechanical engineer and entrepreneur. With new investments, Bjørn will continuously ensure that customers' needs and wishes will continue to be met. Together with Maskinfabrikken Metalteknik ApS, Henrik Pedersen a highly experienced mechanical engineer, joined THORSTEDS. All three and team deliver a top quality, one-stop destination for machined components.
